CAAD
Alpha Rho Chi (APX)
Ìýis the only national co-ed professional fraternity for architecture and the allied arts. Mississippi State's Hippodamus chapter includes students from architecture, landscape architecture, graphic design, engineering, English, and more. The “Hippos" actively work together to host a series of professional events every spring, fundraising events for their philanthropy throughout the year, brotherhood events for chapter bonding, a White Rose Formal each fall, and a summer retreat for bonding/business. Recruiting and pledging occur in the beginning of the fall semester.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) – Student Chapter
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Student Chapter is a university-affiliated student organization for building construction science, architecture, and engineering majors. This organization is responsible for helping plan and run events for the Building Construction Science Program such as skeet shoots, career fairs, lunch-and-learns, and several other opportunities for students to connect and network with companies. ABC is also responsible for helping promote the ethical standards set forth in being a construction professional. It’s a great way to become involved with your major while in college and have some great opportunities to build relationships with other students and industry professionals.

BCS Women’s Forum
The BCS Women’s Forum is an organization of females in the Building Construction Science Program who meet to discuss obstacles faced by women in the construction industry. Students also have the opportunity to network with alumnae and women in the construction industry and be paired up with a female mentor from the construction industry.
Interior Design
Collegiate Society of Interior Designers (CSID)
CSID, the Collegiate Society of Interior Designers, is a student-led organization encompassing the professional organizations ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and NEWH (Network of Executive Women in Hospitality). Focused on helping interior design students, the organization hosts lunch-and-learns, skill workshops, and community service events to aid students in their studies and prepare them for the workforce.

Dean's Council
Dean's Council is a select group of student ambassadors for the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app. Students represent their major at recruitment events and serve in various volunteer opportunities throughout the year. They have discussions withÌýthe dean at a monthly meeting and disseminate information from her back to their unit. Representatives from each student organization in the college serve on the council.

The Fiber.Paper.Arts Club engages in the tradition of community-based learning and aims to give students a chance to broaden their skills as artists while exploring all aspects fiber arts: sewing, knitting, felting, weaving, quilting, fabric dying, paper making, and more.

Historic Preservation Student Alliance
Through collaborative partnerships with local communities, historical societies, and cultural institutions, theÌýHistoric Preservation Student AllianceÌýworks to actively contribute to the restoration and conservation of historically significant landmarks, artifacts and stories. Their mission is driven by a shared vision: to protect the past, honor the present, and inspire a future that remains connected to our shared historical roots.

QCAAD
QCAAD, or Queer students in the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app, strives to create a safe space for students and faculty in architecture and the allied arts who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community and welcomes allies. The club hosts weekly study hangouts and craft events during the semester, represents CAAD in the yearly Starkville Pride Parade, and coordinates LGBTQIA+ History Month events during October. QCAAD serves as a space for open dialogue about queer identity and expression within CAAD, and exists to support its members through academic and personal struggles arising from being a queer design student in the South. It also promotes recognition of queer designers throughout history, and aims to fill in gaps in current design education.Ìý

Sigma Lambda Chi
TheÌýSigma Lambda Chi International Construction Honor Society exists to provide recognition to outstanding students in construction curricula. It is open to the top 20% of the junior and senior classes that exemplify leadership, academic excellence, and a desire to propel the construction industry forward. Members engage in chapter fellowship, professional development, and community service. Sigma Lambda Chi is certified by the Association of College Honor Societies.

Ìýis an architectural honor society open to top students in the third-, fourth-, and fifth-year architecture studios. Tau Sigma Delta's organizes Friday Forum and the Giles Gallery exhibitions and receptions.

The American Institute of Architecture Students
American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS)Ìýis the student branch of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). AIAS sponsors many professional, social, and service events throughout the year including the Beaux Arts Ball. Our chapter also has Freedom By Design (FBD), which is dedicated to serving our local community.Ìý

The National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS)
Ìýis the student arm of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). Students participating seek to enhance the educational experience of its members by fostering diversity within the School of Architecture and the community at-large. NOMAS hosts the annual TRASHIONshow, an event where students design clothing out of reusable items.

The Student Director's Advisory Council
The Student Director’s Advisory Council consists of two students from each year level in the School of Architecture and executive leaders of the architecture student organizations. This group acts as a liaison between the student body and the administration and meets monthly with the director of the Mississippi State University Bachelor of Architecture degree program.

Young Women in Architecture
Young Women in Architecture is a new student organization in the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app at Mississippi State University, founded by architecture student Savannah Wilson. YWA's mission is to empower and support women in architecture during and after their time at Mississippi State. The group has established five pillars as its backbone: Design, Integrity, Community, Scholarship, and Purpose. In addition to preparing members for the professional world, they also focus on supporting the local community, uplifting members and fellow classmates, and pushing members to become better designers and individuals every day. Any person in architecture or architectural-related studies can join.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app's AIGA student chapter gives students access to invaluable resources and opportunitiesÌýthrough the national AIGAÌýorganizationÌýto help make the transition from students to professional designers. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app's AIGA also provides CAAD Graphic Design concentration students an opportunity to socialize with their peers in a casual setting, the chance to be involved in leadership roles, and is a great addition to their resumé. The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app AIGA chapter is also known for putting on the annual national graphic design competition,

The ViewFinders Photo Club
The Viewfinders Photo Club is open to all students who are interested in photography. Its mission is to create an open community where students can share work, ideas, knowledge, and encouragement. Activities include gallery trips, critiques, photography walks, member-lead exhibits, workshops, and more! Viewfinders is designed to foster an environment where amateur and advanced photographers alike can improve their skills and have fun.
